 This is a view of the ocean as seen from Nauset Light in Eastham. This is on the outside of the arm of the Cape. |
 This is the same view, just a little bit different perspective. It's about a thirty foot drop to the beach from where I was standing. |
 As you can see those 85 MPH gusts were no joke. |
 The small blue box in the center is a Green Head Fly trap. They are about three feet wide by three feet long by two feet high. If you were standing next to it, it would probably be about chest height. You find them all over the marshes. They are NEVER submerged. |
 This is a view of a tidal marsh in Eastham, on the bay side. I have been to this beach many times and have never seen the tide quite this high. |
