Travel Team Information

Players interested in participating on a League-sponsored Travel Team are encouraged to contact the assigned managers below with your intentions. Players considering membership on any of the four Travel Teams must be willing to commit to a number of pre-determined tournaments held throughout the season at a variety of state, regional and out of state locations. Travel Team players must also be prepared to assume a variety of personal expenses for all tournament venues.

The following players have been appointed as Travel Team Managers for the 2007 season:

Travel Team Managers are to conduct team tryouts in order to give each interested player the opportunity to demonstrate his skills. Managers will schedule a number of pre-game team practices in order to select the most competitive players and representative teams who will travel to the many venues and tournaments. Once tryouts have been concluded Managers have the Board's support to form their team rosters as determined by player performance. Travel Team Managers are required to submit their final team rosters to the Commissioner by May 30th. Managers are also requested to submit their Travel Team Tournament schedules to the Commissioner prior to April 30th. This information is needed in order to prepare regular League game schedules so that we can avoid game conflicts or other schedule duplications within our League.

There will be initial tryouts for the 70+ Travel Team on Wednesday April 16 at Potter Field in Harwich. The time will be 10:30 AM.
