innings, highlighted by good defensive plays by both clubs. Rob Robidoux made
two long-running catches in leftfield for 3rd outs, with runners in scoring
position. After Bonatt's took one-run lead in top of 7th, Aggies loaded the
bases with clutch hits by Ron Folz, Rob Robidoux & Peter Brooks. This set
table for Tom Delnickas, who crushed high drive over rightfielder's head to
drive in tieing and game-winning runs. Aggies evened their record at 5-5. |

"cannon shot" that dribbled about 4 feet in front of the plate. He
had to be reminded that there's no bunting in this league. John Whalen
pitched another outstanding game, with good control. Pool player Alan Segal
made two "highlight reel" catches in right field. Despite the
continuing absence of 3 starting outfielders, the guys continue to scratch
out hits and play good defense to win. |
