We ventured out into the storm to take these pictures of Harwich and Chatham for your enjoyment.

SnowTwisters
Snow Twisters on the Beach at Bank Street. Gale Force Winds created little snow tornadoes.
HarwichPort
Harwich Port Shoreline in the swirling snow, viewed from Bank Street Beach.
Backyard
This is what our backyard was looking like at about noon. Poor birds!
Another Yard
Picturesque collection of trees with snow, in Harwich Center.
Front Yard Tree
Tree in the front yard, heavy with snow. And it was still coming down! We lost some big branches, but no damage to life or limb.
Shoveling
The snow was mostly water underneath, hard on the back and on the greenery.

I trudged into the 'holler' in Brooks Park, to get a better view of some of the broken trees.
Brooks Park
Another view from inside the 'holler'. The snow here about mid-calf high, and the wind was gale force. Lots of groaning from the trees. I didn't stay long.
Snapped Tree
A tree in the 'holler' snapped in half.
Bog
The Cranberry Bog on Bank Street, with snow swirling in the high winds.
