Walking with Grief: A Healing Journey

Walking with Grief: A Healing Journey, is a book of art and poetry published by Healthsigns Center in 2006. This prose poem written by Nanette Geertz, shows how she dealt with her daughter's unexpected death at age nineteen. Through God's creation she sought and found solace, strength, and hope for the future.

Anne Ierardi created 21 paintings illustrating the ways of healing in the midst of loss and loneliness. Anne is carrying on the work of bringing Walking with Grief to a wider audience in memory of her dear friend and colleague, Nan, who died in early 2005 of breast cancer.
