The New England town centers, local museums, and historical sites transport us back to a simpler time. Cultural events, town festivals and fairs, the beautiful resorts and restaurants, all provide opportunities to socialize and recreate.

Arbitrary Geographic Divisions
Cape Cod can be divided into four areas. Each region has its distinctive characteristics, while still maintaining the general attributes of a seashore recreation area. Check out the maps above, and follow the links to whatever interests you.

The Upper Cape consists of the towns of Bourne, Sandwich, Falmouth, Mashpee and Wareham.
The Midcape consists of the towns of Barnstable, Yarmouth, Dennis, Brewster, and Harwich.
The Lower Cape (also called the Outer Cape) consists of the towns of Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro, and Provincetown.
The Islands are Nantucket Island and Martha's Vineyard.
